Brunch in Albuquerque is about to get a whole lot more exciting. At Smothered, we’re taking your breakfast favorites and giving them a bold, creative twist. While the final menu is still in the works, here’s a little teaser of what we’ve been cooking up.

Imagine starting your day with warm, buttery biscuits slathered in house-made jam or paired with whipped goat cheese. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, dive into our Bacon Flight—because why settle for one flavor when you can try maple bourbon, salsa verde, pilloncillo & habanero, or even bacon dipped in pancake batter?

Craving something hearty? Our breakfast burrito is loaded with eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat, and Oaxaca cheese, all wrapped up and smothered in red or green chile. For the ultimate sweet-and-savory combo, our Morning Monte Cristo or fried chicken biscuit sandwich with chorizo gravy might just steal your heart.

But it doesn’t stop there. Our Eggplant Caponata Toast with burrata, honey, and pistachios is as indulgent as it sounds, while the avocado toast gets a flavorful upgrade with chili crisp and pickled veggies. And for those with a sweet tooth, our French Toast Brûlée and Chicken & Waffles with red chile butter are pure magic.

Looking for something truly unique? Try our beet chilaquiles—crispy tortilla triangles tossed in a strawberry ranchero sauce, topped with goat cheese, pumpkin seeds, and a pop of fresh herbs.
